EasyPlanning is a drafting service based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, UK. We produce floor plans, elevations, site plans and as-built drawings for planning applications and building records. Our email address is info@easyplanning.uk.
By commissioning work from EasyPlanning, you agree to these terms in full. Please read them before placing an order.
2. Our services
EasyPlanning produces the following drawing types:
- Floor plans (existing and proposed)
- Elevations (existing and proposed)
- Site plans and block plans
- As-built drawings
All drawings are produced for planning application and record purposes only. We do not provide architectural design advice, structural engineering, building regulations drawings, or any calculations of a structural or engineering nature.
3. What you must provide
To produce drawings, you must supply sufficient information about the property and proposed works, including measurements, sketches, photographs, plans and any other information reasonably requested by EasyPlanning.
- A hand-drawn sketch of each floor with all room dimensions clearly shown, including wall thicknesses where possible, and door and window positions marked; or
- Annotated photographs together with accurate measurements and dimensions.
Measurements are essential. We cannot produce drawings without them. If insufficient information is provided, we may request further information or decline the project.
EasyPlanning prepares drawings solely from the measurements, sketches, photographs, plans, dimensions and instructions supplied by the client.
EasyPlanning does not carry out site visits, property surveys, measured surveys, inspections or verification of dimensions unless expressly agreed in writing.
The client is solely responsible for ensuring that all measurements, sketches, photographs, plans, dimensions and instructions supplied are complete, accurate and up to date.
All drawings produced by EasyPlanning are based entirely upon information supplied by the client and represent our interpretation of that information only. EasyPlanning cannot verify the accuracy of information provided and accepts no responsibility for errors, omissions, inaccuracies or discrepancies arising from incorrect, incomplete or misleading information supplied by the client.
The client must review all drawings upon receipt and notify EasyPlanning of any errors or omissions before submitting the drawings to any authority, contractor or third party. Use of the drawings shall constitute acceptance of their content and accuracy.
4. Quotes and pricing
All quotes are fixed-price and provided in writing by email within 24 hours of receiving your brief. The quoted price covers the agreed scope of work only. Any additional drawings or significant changes to the brief after a quote has been accepted may be subject to an additional charge, which will be agreed with you in advance.
Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue.
5. Payment
A 50% deposit is required before work begins on all projects unless otherwise agreed in writing. The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion of the drawings.
Draft drawings may be provided for review where applicable. Final drawings will not be released until payment has been received in full.
We accept payment by bank transfer. Payment details will be provided on your invoice.
If payment is not received within 14 days of the invoice date, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel the project.
6. Revisions
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each project includes up to three rounds of reasonable revisions. Additional revisions or changes to the agreed scope of work may be charged at our standard rates.
7. Turnaround times
We aim to deliver first draft drawings within 2–3 working days. This is not guaranteed.
8. Intellectual Property
EasyPlanning retains copyright and all intellectual property rights in all drawings, plans and documents produced.
Upon receipt of full payment, the client is granted a non-exclusive licence to use the drawings solely for the purpose for which they were commissioned, including submission to the relevant planning authority.
Drawings may not be reproduced, resold, transferred, distributed or used for any other project without the prior written consent of EasyPlanning.
9. Planning Permission
EasyPlanning prepares drawings suitable for planning applications based on the information provided by the client.
No guarantee is given that any planning application will be approved. Planning decisions are made solely by the relevant Local Planning Authority, and EasyPlanning has no control over or responsibility for the outcome of any application.
10. Limitation of liability
EasyPlanning's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid for the project.
EasyPlanning accepts no liability for:
- Errors arising from client-supplied information, measurements or sketches
- Reliance placed on drawings by clients or third parties
- Planning refusal or local authority decisions
- Construction defects, structural issues or building failures
- Indirect or consequential losses
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
11. Cancellations
If a project is cancelled after work has commenced, EasyPlanning reserves the right to retain the deposit and charge for any work completed up to the date of cancellation.
Any additional amount owed will be calculated proportionally based on the work undertaken.
12. Governing law
England and Wales law applies.
13. Data Protection
EasyPlanning collects and processes personal information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Client information is used solely for the purpose of providing our services, communicating with clients and maintaining project records. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties unless required by law or necessary to provide our services.

14. Third-Party Use
Drawings produced by EasyPlanning are prepared solely for the client who commissioned the work. No responsibility or liability is accepted to any third party who relies upon or uses the drawings without our written consent.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time.
