Do you only work with clients in Cheltenham?

Not at all. We're based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, but we work with clients right across the UK. Simply email us your sketch or photos with annotated measurements and we'll handle everything remotely.

What do I need to send you to get started?

We need one of two things — either a hand-drawn sketch with all measurements written on, or annotated photos of the space with a tape measure visible. The measurements are essential — without them we can't produce accurate drawings. Rough sketches are absolutely fine, they don't need to be to scale.

How do I get started if I'm not local?

Email us your hand-drawn sketch or annotated photos with measurements to info@easyplanning.uk. We'll review what you've sent and come back with a fixed-price quote within 24 hours. No site visit needed for most projects.

How long do floor plans take to produce?

Most residential floor plans are completed within 2–3 working days. Larger or more complex projects may take a little longer. We'll give you a clear, confirmed timeline with your quote.

What file formats do you deliver?

We deliver in PDF, AutoCAD DWG, or both — whichever your builder, architect or planning authority requires. Just let us know when you enquire.

Are your drawings accepted by UK planning authorities?

Yes. Our drawings are produced to UK planning standards and are ready for submission to local planning authorities. We maintain a 98% first-submission approval rate across all project types.

Do you provide structural calculations or RSJ beam sizing?

No — and by law, we can't. Structural calculations must be carried out and signed off by a qualified structural engineer. We produce planning and as-built drawings only. If your project involves load-bearing walls, RSJ beams, or structural alterations, we'll flag this and can recommend you appoint a structural engineer alongside us.
